ooooooooooh yeah FF I completely forgot about that. Yep. They're not gonna last I assume it was a suspension failure, he couldn't even fight the car so seems it was a mechanical failure

might say in the commentating. Eurosport ? Nothing in the technical regs, it's probably in the sporting regs, but I don't have the sheet on my computer. It's probably available on the FIA website. But the 24h of Le Mans says all LMP1 have 112 sets but then nothing about new teams. But they do talk about new teams concerning engines limit (7 instead of 5 per season). www.24h-lemans.com/en/race/category_2_2_1742.html

I'm having trouble putting in the link so head over to racer.com, sportscar365 or Daliysportscar.com!

Starting grid for tomorrow !All three GT-R LM have been penalized for not reaching the 110% in qualifying. (3:36.576 according to my calculations ) Starting just in front of the last LMP2 #45 and behind 29th #4 LMP1 car penalized as well. Via Autosport.com

How can Nissan be so complaisant with their performance ? On their return in LMP1 Porsche scored a podium straight away and was two steps away from the win at Le Mans ! Toyota was very competitive too back in 2012. Nissan isn't even classified (!!) ! They absolutely need to finish in front of Rebellion and ByKolles in Germany.

I know that confused me too lol
It's like McLaren saying 'yeah we're happy' when you can see how pissed off Button and Alonso are lol
Yeah, they want to be optimistic, fair enough. Maybe they learnt a lot which will help them next year' (they're competing in the remaining rounds of WEC now correct?) but they shouldn't be happy at all They should have at least been classified. Even every GTE team beat them. I never thought that was possible unless you were in the garage for hours and hours.

Even every GTE team beat them. I never thought that was possible unless you were in the garage for hours and hours. They did, according to Autosport they spent 8h in the garage (1/3rd of the race for the maths geniuses in the back ). They can be optimistic but they just have to be humble a bit. "What did they [LMP2] qualify at last year, a 3m37s? We will be way ahead of that" “For sure we have had problems but that’s what happens when you innovate." blahblahblah... That was already a bit arrogant before the race, but now that the results are there they should really change their communication. I think it would've been better if at least one car showed decent pace and none of the 3 finished. We're in the worst case here, only 1 car and barely matching the last * privateer* LMP1's long-run pace. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome they are trying to make things differently but right now -and for the last 6 months- they just sound pushy.

Manufacturer championship they are screwed. And even driver championship is compromised, Porsche had issues at Silverstone and Spa but they are a lot quicker as they showed at Le Mans. And they only have 2 engines left, other cars have at least 3 or maybe 4 !
Only hope beside of luck is a battle between #17 and #18 Porsches that split the points !

I miss Interlagos already, I've kept good memories from last year's race and what place is better to end a motorsport season than Brazil ?
