I don't agree they'll be foot down as much as they were back in the days, the only reason they wouldn't is if they keep the 100kg limit, which would be odd but understandable. And even considering that, the engines improving a bit each year it could be enough. It's all down to communication anyway, WEC doesn't stop rehashing they race flat out for 6 or 24h which is absolutely false since they lift and coast all the time, more than Formula One, but no one talks about it so it is perceived as "real" racing.
The reason why nothing changes is because no one can dictate anything, if it's not because Bernie isn't happy, it's because of the teams or because of the FIA regulations.
The difference between now and before the strategy shifted from fuel to tyres. If you bring back refueling there's no reason not to want resistant tyres. The only reason I don't see it happening at all is because refueling is being dismissed, as far as I know pit stops would be whether unsafe or too slow. Pirelli's brand is being so walked on all season long since they joined F1, I have to admit I don't know why they still wish to carry on.

Yeah, the FIA just need to turn around and say 'Here's the rules, deal with it. You don't like it, go elsewhere.' The laughable strategy group, which claim it's about the future of F1 but fuck you Sauber, Force India and Manor, you don't get a say with your shoestring budgets. Ninja's Team Principal Punching List: Red Bull: Yes, repeatedly. I'd knock Christian out and take his wife. McLaren: Yes, repeatedly. Both Eric and Ron since they're wankers. Williams: I can't hit Frank but Claire would be so tempting. Force India: You can't hit Vijay, he's the voice of the voiceless. Sauber: I can't hit Monisha but if I found Peter Sauber creeping around the garage then yes. Ferrari: I like Marco Mattiacci, I don't know why I just do. Manor: No, they seem like cool guys just trying to get by. I'd hit Will Stevens instead. Lotus: Ummm, probably. I can't even remember who their principal is so I'd just swing for everyone except Romain. Mercedes: You can't hit Niki, he's a Legend. Toto would have to say 'Get to the chopper!' to avoid it. Paddy Lowe seems nice enough. I might just beat up Bono while screaming 'Don't talk to me in the corners...'

Lol so you pretty much punch everyone, what about Arrivabene, you may have spared Matiacci but Ferrari didn't I'm so glad that Vettel left Red Bull, I just hope Ricciardo doesn't take too long to follow his path and that Sainz won't fall for it FIA shouldn't have dropped its decisional power in the first place, that was the dumbest decision ever.

So you hit Marco or Mauricio ? Both ? I like Toto because of his Austrian accent and because Toto is the name of a random guy in numerous jokes in French

Everyone knows they made a mistake picking Kvyat over Vergne. I know the relationship between Red Bull and JEV was damaged but still, you take his lower scoring teammate instead? If you want a Russian put Petrov in the car, bloody Kvyat, overrated.
Now Jolyon Palmer, he's a guy who needs to be in a race seat next season.

I was talking about it, and schumi's incident only a couple of days ago with my dad, but never expected him to then go this soon. RIP Jules

I was actually thinking about him and his progress a few hours before he passed away. Truly devastating.

I think his family will be happier this way though. I read from a statement from his dad that him and jules were talking about Michael, and jules said he didn't want to live like that, even if he was ok but could never drive again he still wouldn't want to live. He would have had a difficult life and at least this way he'll be remembered more, such a shame, a great talent gone.

Haha, I forgot last year Hamilton complained to his team because they didn't make him stop during the safety car period, that's hilarious after what happened this year
