So. What camera view do people use and why? (Poll included).
When i'm having fun, I like to use the view from the cockpit, although i'm a lot slower in that view. The bumper cam is my weapon of choice, as it gives me more awareness. While testing for WEC yesterday, after I got out of the GT3 and into the LMP, the view changed completely, it felt really weird actually, shows just how much lower the cars are.

Iv always used chase cam, since I can remember. I can see what's going on around me more, cockpit view I just feel I can't see what's going on as much. I'd like to get used to cockpit view as I do like the realism, but anything other than chase just feels weird

I know what you mean, you just completely miss your braking points, run wide and miss the apex by miles lol. Interior view wouldn't be too bad but it gives you even less awareness, looking in the mirrors and to your left/right is awful. Should have a helmet cam

Bumper, purely because it has the rear-view mirror. It has retroactively destroyed how I play other games though, since I used to use Bonnet cam but now feel much slower with that style. The only time I don't use Bumper is if a game with Formula Cars has the TV Pod option, and Motorcycle games where I have to use Chase. I can't place the bike when the whole screen moves.

Interior/helmet cam most of the time because it's more immersive. Always been annoyed there's no mirror in GT6 though. Except recently for Driveclub, can't drive those soap bars in any other view than chase ! Same as Ninja for Formula and moto games (seriously who can drive in helmet cam in MotoGP ? )

I hate the mirrors so much, the red bull cars are worse, as the side pods take up the entire view lol
I tried helmet view on moto gp once, it's like a heavy hit of LSD. 'Damn, where did the corner go' lol

I have always used the interior view every since the days of gt5 prologue. It's just what I got used to. I think it makes it easier to judge the yaw of the car because the camera isn't absolutly stationary like it is on the bumper or hood view (sorry, bonnet view lol).
I've never played the moto gp games but back in the day I even used the helmet view in tourist trophy. I never had a problem there. I was able to judge to apexs better. But of course I had got used to that too.
