I had a big spin earlier on but it didn't seem to have many problems
it sucks, as I had to try memorize where you were on the map

As soon as Agro told me to get into the pits for Q2 I did.
If you want to get picky, as the room host you allowed a non-FGT-car onto the track for qualifying who took me out twice in Q2 so I couldn't set a representative lap.
And then you park your car in Q3 on the inside of T1 instead of the pits, and just as I was being my well-timed flying lap I chooe to take the Immortal line close to the pit lane wall only to having to avoid a car parked car on the start finish line while qualifying was still green, and then Immortal came out of the pit lane and blocked the racing line through T1 so I had to take avoiding action.
That hindered me a lot, I ran with very low down force so it was impossible on like tyres for other cars to pass (like Ayrton found out, great job with the win!) but equally hard to stay close to the car in front so grid position was crucial.
Thankfully the race was cleaner than qualifying, had a good battle with Ayrton, had my sights on UA a few times, but all in all, 5th was the best I could do.
As for a tribute to Jules, I had the red car so I won it for Jules; we don't have all have the same way to commemorate someone's life, to create a tribute and then call it 'awful' whilst it is going on is itself disrespectful.

you shouldn't have to be told, you should know from having read the rules.
and the reason I had parked up, was have you tried running a series when no one follows instructions AND you have to try drive? so I had to pit, rush around to get things organised and set my lap, without knowing, my car rolled out of the pits and I had to quickly stop it, off track.
Im not even going to bother mate, just don't worry about attending. If my hosting is bad enough don't come, simple. The non-fgt car wasn't my fault and with 30 seconds left i'm going to cancel my lap time when I could have kicked him straight after? No.
Yes, the tribute was awful. People crashed into me a few times, and it was called slow laps for a reason.
I'm not bothering going into it mate. Don't attend the next race, I've had enough.

Such a drama queen, you can dish out criticism but can't take it clearly. Only two drivers went out instead of staying in pit before green and we both came straight in with a simple message telling us to, no drama. I have run rooms and I know how frustrating things can get but that is when a room host, not least a championship host, has to keep cool and calm for the good of the series.

I take a lot of criticism, but not when it's uncalled for
both drivers never initially ok.
All I've said is enough. I'm not arguing, if you want to give me grief, then message me. But when what you two did caused me grief in qualifying then blame it on me that's unfair.
As I said, i'm not arguing, I want to have fun and im taking the advice of others that I get rid of those causing issues

I think a straight 15min qualy session will be better to do
oh no, Madrid next, EVO's first race, so maybe he can beat IP

Yes that guy in a different car, what a tit. I think it's best to kick people straight away who are not signed up. I guess it's ok if you know them and they are of a standard. Like Arty, I had my qualy messed up twice because of him.
I would suggest a few 1 or 2 lap practice races then we are locked into a 20min qualy session followed by the race. Blow-ins can't get on track. If someone is late we can do a manual gird for the race to let them start at the back.
Anyway, on to the next track.

I'm attending my union's annual family picnic on August 1st, so I won't be an available reserve driver for Madrid. Zip-lines, bouncy castles, & watching my lady lady get drunk. Good luck to everybody. As for the previous posts... it's better to state the issue, rather than post in a way that could be interpreted as whiny. As for the tribute...there was a guy that was crashing into people (pretty crazily) ,and even causing engine damage during tribute. I think blues comments during the tribute were perfectly reasonable. Good luck in Madrid everyone. It's gonna be a tough race

Well, back to work after a very long recovery. Official schedule is 4/10's (Mon-Thurs), but the next 2 months they're askin us for for Fridays & Saturdays. I'm gonna miss my picnic now too...lol. I really enjoyed the first 2 races. The drivers have been very gracious & helpful, and I like the format too. Unfortunately I can longer commit as a reserve driver. If I'm not working I will definitely stop in & see if there's space on the grid. Thanks to Agro for inviting me, and blue for being so accepting of a stranger. So...enjoy yourselves and good racing.

Right, forgot to say the other day, regarding lapped cars, when you're being approached, press the start button to turn you into a ghost. Yeah, it's not great, I prefer working through traffic but it will be safer for everyone that way

Low numbers, but it was a good race (except for getting damage every stint :/ ) especially with me and Evo Damn ayrton and his tire saving skills was doing 20 lap stints! Still don't get how he does it! P.S. Great avatar True

Another good result for me. 3rd, 1st and now a 2nd. A hard track to find a rhythm at for sure. This track the other way round is better as the braking zones aren't bottlenecks but still made it home safe so can't complain.
I can't race the next race but will be back for Silverstone.

yay finally! been having laptop issues since last night, so just been able to get on, need to do a system restore tonight so my evening will pretty much be taken up with restoring all my files, typical.
Last night, well, shame about the numbers, but still enjoyable none the less. The restart I am disappointed about. My race at high speed ring was ended turn 1 but I didn't shout, and never have done in the past. But when agro pulled over I had no choice. Please remember to keep going.
Madrid is a strange track but I like the challenge. My initial start was good, but the restart wasn't. Came into turn 1 and saw david off, so I clipped the barrier. Then when I pitted, I put another set of hard and full fuel in, so that pretty much ruined my race. Spent the rest just doing flying laps and trying new things, while watching the battle, looked great.
Tyre wear seems to be the thing us mortals have over the aliens. 20laps on the softs was fine for me too, something ayrton and I seem to be able to do (but im off his pace lol) but for some reason the hards won't last as long. GT logic lol.
Need to look at some replays tonight, especially the first start, and also drivers quitting.
Shame, but still a good race, i'll get some solid practice in for RBR and maybe a decent top 6 could be a target for me

Anyone know if chris can make the next race? Would love to see IP, EVO and chris do battle once more for the win, shame ayrton isn't there as I think this is a track he'd of had a win chance at. Well, RS and RM though, that's a better omen for me too
