Yes it would.
I think GT6 will be my last GT racing. When GT7 comes out I'm not buying a PS4 for it. Not when I have a PC sitting right beside the wheel and Iracing has this.
I owe it to myself to move over to Iracing.

There's a longer video of this. A guy explains it all and shows you more features. It's fucking nuts.

I saw Empty Box's video about this, I think Project CARS handles rubber on track as well, but I'm not sure for the marbles (at least they are not dynamic) and not sure to what extent. PC is the best platform choice anyway, and iRacing not only for the rubbering track It's with those type of evidences that you see that GT6 isn't "really" a sim, but just some kind of simplified sim-cade, juste like Forza & co. Project CARS aims at a rather large audience too but it is still a more advanced sim.

Yeah I know all about Iracing. It's the full experience. Pit Lane limiter, starting with your own fuel level, etc. I was always waiting until GT7 and the PS4 made GT6 redundant to make the move. Seeing this has just made me excited about the switch.
What game do you play?

Currently mainly Project CARS, less lately because as an early buyer I'm fed up with the bugs, it's getting better but it's really slow. I had the opportunity to buy a PS4 for cheap back in April so I'm not intending to buy a PC soon but if I had to do it again I think I would've buy one instead. (iRacing is bad for the studies anyway )

Yeah get the studies done first. I had to stop racing when I was at school. I only managed a fortnightly championship during the summer months. I would dream about racing those years, hahahaha.
Enjoy your racing as we are all lucky to have the internet so that we can race. I spent all of GT3/GT4 praying for online racing and now it's here I can't race all the time, hahaha but I enjoy when I do race.

I'm thinking of making the move from PS3 to PC, too. The main problem is that literally EVERYTHING needs to be top-notch performance, and that would cost roughly £3000 for just the PC. Maybe I'll wait for GT7, if SSR11 returns then I know what I'm choosing.

Why would you buy a gaming war machine when you can have a decent PC for now and a couple of years at least for roughly 500 or 600£ ! That's more than enough for iRacing at least and probably most games on high or tweaked high/med at worst (aka console graphics mode ).

For me the graphics is secondary to what Iracing has now. Sweet christ they have a dynamic track. At least you can always add to a PC if you want more graphics.

Yeah but you still have to maintain the framerate with 40 cars on the track. iRacing isn't particularly good looking on max settings, but you don't want to run it on low trust me (liveries looks like PSone, what a shame for those who spent time creating it) With a ~500£ PC or even less you should run it with no problem on max / 60FPS I think.

Ayrtonschumacher Argo Aug and a new guy.
It was a great race with the changing conditions. They seemed to have done a good job with the weather now. Wet/dry line, all great stuff.
Indy next?

Forgot to say last night, if it rains at Indy then I'm pulling from the championship.

Forgot to say last night, if it rains at Indy then I'm pulling from the championship. This is terrible to hear. The rain is the great leveler. It's your best chance of doing well but I guess you're right. It is difficult after all.

I'll try see what happens but i'll try find someone else to host the last rounds. Was excited for a month for this race, and as others have said we've had to move the earth, do hour delays, restart races over the year and when I do this it's a shame the same can't be given to me in return by a 20minute wait.
But well done AYRTON

did the track dry up? or did it just go from damp to full wet and stay?

Yeah we did we not wait? I was willing.
The track went to 50%, then to 0% for the remainder.
