Question.
What would people see as the pinnacle of 24hr le mans or racing? LMP1, or Group C?

Good night tonight, despite PD throwing their usual spanners in the works everyone stayed upbeat and kept on going. Some crazy lap counts out there lol. Should be a great series.

Awesome race, we can count on people showing up! I need to work on my tune, and get my team together.

I'm drained after that. Driving the z4 for two hours and the toyota for another two hours. Whew, that got hard to focus at the end. Best way I could get my focus back was to just drive like it was a sprint in the last 30 minutes.
A few close calls with the lapped traffic, but not bad. We got to make sure when we're doing pace laps that we all give each other room and keep a steady pace. No accelerating and deaccelerating. Other than that no big issues.

Yeah, that's why on the second start pace lap I tried to maintain a solid 70mph where possible corners. It's why I waited until after Stowe to put the hammer down into the pits, didn't want everyone to accelerate with me out on the Hangar Straight if I tried to pull a gap.

seriously drained too lol. I've had some great close racing in the past but that was crazy. PS3 stressed me out big time initially with how it was behaving, then having to spend the last 40mins with stig behind me, then a last 10min battle for the podium, seriously worn me out lol
No idea with the safety car, I kept it at 70mph all the way around, andro came with me but apart from that there was chaos behind.
Few things to ask / suggestions, but we all deserve a good night rest, tomorrow we can get to work lol. Big thanks everyone, should have larger grids too and if not, it will still be amazing like this

Regarding the laps behind safetycar, I just sway left to right to keep the tyre temprature, no sudden accelerations or braking, if everyone could try to do the same it'd be alot cleaner I think.

I'm pulling from the championship due to other leagues which I have bigger chances in. One step at a time, right?

by only racing in races you can dominate will never help improve someone as a driver. Many of us get walked over by TRL drivers, but it pushes us to improve ourselves. And an endurance race isn't determined by speed, but by technique and perseverance. But hey, rage quitting because you're off the pace and throwing your dummy out the pram will unfortunately never help. Good luck mate

You pit so often that certainly won't help your pace

But I'm not racing by myself - I want to be in a team. I'll let the team choose me, as I don't want to enter an unwilling one :]
