agree with everything just upsetting when there's another group you cant trust. But oh well, the good people will be there so I look forward to a cracker.
On a lighter note, emo has had a baby boy, so congrats to him

Well, unfortunately for me, a great start in Race 1 was hampered by a costly mistake into T1 before the pitstops. The lack of practice was why it took until the tail end of race 2 to really start being able to plug decent laps but sadly I just couldn't get the consistency all night through.
The battles I did have with people were pretty epic though, one of these tracks where if you're not the quickest you can't close up on someone who's quicker once they pull away out of draft range. Did my best to fight hard and fair... Very sorry about getting the jump on you all outside of the pit window, but I can tell you that it did come back to bite me in the end pitting early... I'll accept any course of action necessary for it though...

ok, so points will be up soon when one or 2 things are confirmed.
Regarding the future. Season 5 will be using some classic cars. 6 rounds with 1 drop score. suspension/diff Tuning will be allowed this season. Car choice announced in the future Season 6 will be a touring car with a bit more power. We have the car already, announced soon.
After this I have no plans and there's a possibility the series will fold. Interest is dropping, and it's so quiet despite trying to keep a discussion going it seems futile to do it just to have a great race with a group of people then get knocked off by another group. I hope to carry on, but if the reaction i'm getting back is 'i'm not coming because i'm practicing for another series' and i'm the only one thinking that's wrong then i'm putting a lot of time in for nothing.
I'll carry on until the end of season '6' (will probably be 7 as I have a strange event in mind coming up soon after this season, but after that we'll have to see.

I don't think interest is the issue as we have a great stable of drivers. The issue is going to be when are PD gonna kill the servers. Although I'm pretty sure 6 seasons (given our estimate of when GT7 would be released) was our original prediction.

I just didn't have the pace at midfield when following yuc I noticed I was losing about 4 tenths in the middle sector every lap I think it may be to do with the d-pad in the long fast corners, anyone else find this issue? Or is it just me. As far as "holding the line" is concerned, in the fast corners like 3/4 right left I did struggle to stay smooth as I was having to tap the d-pad, I must of looked juddery for the future of the series, there's no reason why we can't just be a group of people that meet up once a week to race. Edit: forgot to mention the epic battles that I had with you guys, especially with ninj and yuc, like you said we lost loads of time, Mike with 190bhp even caught us up and joined in

I'm the same way through the faster corners, give the stick little taps so as not to scrub as much speed. I had no issues with you where holding the line was concerned mate. Hell, I was surprised to find out you use the D-Pad still.

Meh, problem with Dual Shocks is the stick placement is horrible. It's why I have to buy knock-off third party pads with the Xbox 360 offset stick placement.

if the regular likes of us still want to meet up i'm happy to. would love to but long as the trustworthy guys stick around
I found the wheel doesn't make that much difference, pad works just as well. And by 'holding line' I mean when someone tries to overtake up the inside, and runs to the outside too, using he entire track.
15 laps for willow like last week sound right?

Yeah, laptimes are quite similar. A bit longer at Willow but not by much.

Can I get some feedback on my driving in Midfield please? I'd like to improve before Willow Springs.

I think recruitment needs to continue we have a stable group of good drivers just wish we could get 14/16 drivers on a race night more regular. Maybe have a thread on GTP again but purely for interest purposes? & Maybe invite interested drivers to try clio cup as a try out? Also in regards to driving standards I experienced some of my closest racing on weds and although I would say Nug for example didnt always hold line when battling and a bit divebomby I was once like that and its only with practice and feedback that I improved. So I feel I can see both sides of the coin so to speak when it comes to driving standards.

Wednesday was super close and nights like that are great, and I also see both sides of the coin, however nug and jim need to as well. Saying after the race that pushing people off and what happened was 'fine' is counter productive. We've all tried to help them but until they realise what they do gets them penalised then they cant improve look at ryan. For awhile he didn't listen to anything and thought it was fine, but he's changed his approach and has a whole new attitude. As I've said plenty of times. If people want practice. just ask
